Introduction

SUS202 Embossed Stainless Steel Sheets is a stainless steel sheet treated by a special embossing process. It is mainly composed of elements such as chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni), and manganese (Mn). The chromium content is about 17%, the nickel content is about 4%, and the manganese content is moderate. This unique chemical composition gives it excellent corrosion resistance and high mechanical strength. It is widely used in many fields such as architectural decoration, automobile manufacturing, machinery manufacturing, chemical equipment, and household goods.

Superior corrosion resistance

SUS202 Embossed Stainless Steel Sheets contain about 17% chromium and 4% nickel. These elements form a dense oxide film in stainless steel, which effectively prevents erosion by oxygen, water, and some corrosive media. The corrosion rate of SUS202 Embossed Stainless Steel Sheets in 3% sodium chloride solution is only 0.01mm/a, which is much lower than the corrosion rate of ordinary steel, ensuring its long-term stability in harsh environments.

Good weldability

SUS202 Embossed Stainless Steel Sheets can be connected by a variety of welding methods, such as TIG welding, MIG welding, and arc welding. Its welded joints have high strength and good toughness and are not prone to defects such as cracks and pores. The tensile strength of SUS202 Embossed Stainless Steel Sheets welded joints can reach more than 90% of the parent material, ensuring the reliability and durability of the welded structure.

Higher strength and hardness

Thanks to its unique chemical composition and solution treatment heat treatment process, the tensile strength of SUS202 stainless steel reaches more than 520MPa and the hardness is about HB185. Compared with ordinary stainless steel, its strength and hardness are significantly improved.

Slip resistance

SUS202 Embossed Stainless Steel Sheets adopts a unique embossing process to form a tiny concave-convex structure, which can increase the contact area between the sole or object and the surface of the sheet. The static friction coefficient of SUS202 Embossed Stainless Steel Sheets is as high as 0.65, much higher than the 0.4 of ordinary smooth stainless steel sheets. It can still maintain a good grip in wet or greasy environments and can effectively prevent slipping accidents.
